Cross Border Cooperation.

With the support of the European Union, the program İnterreg- İpa Bulgaria Turkey where the leader of Meriç Ziraat Odası and the member of the Teachers of the Faculty of Science and the Director of Foreign Relations Application and Research Center Doç. Dr. Murat Türkyılmaz under the project ‘Save the nature to save the future’ approved by the  Joint Monitoring Committee won a grant of 266.195 euro.

Meriç Ziraat Odası Lider Ömer Ergi and the member of the Teachers of the Faculty of Science and the Director of Foreign Relations Application and Research Center Doç. Dr. Murat Türkyılmaz were appointed coordinator of this project.
The grant won by this project was announced in Pomorie, Bulgaria on December 15, 2018 headed by Regional Development and Public Works Deputy Minister Danitsa Nikolova with the President of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Relations of the Republic of Turkey Beyza Turan.

Doç. Dr Murat Türkyılmaz expresses his pleasure for this great project between this two friendly states, adding that this project is the life project because every month farmers throw chemicals, plastic objects and directly affect the ecosystem causing serious problems such as water pollution. He explains that in the framework of this project where soil analysis will be carried out, waste collection, cleaning of polluting chemicals, cleaning and containerizing used plastic materials will also raise public awareness.

The Turkish and Bulgarian delegations gathered at the office of Foreign Relations Application and Research in Trakya Universitesi Center to carry out the project and clearly define the project plan.
