Agreement Procedure

The University, which wants to sign a cooperation agreement with universities abroad, completes the necessary negotiations / correspondence with the International Relations / International Relations Units of the other institution and makes the text of the cooperation agreement ready for signature.

Draft Cooperation Agreement:
It is a general agreement text prepared in English, Turkish and in the language of the country where the other University is located upon request, and it is possible to add and change the text according to the needs of the relevant academic unit or University. In some cases, similar procedures are applied through the draft agreement text sent by the counter institutions.

YÖK APPROVAL PHASE

For Academic and Scientific Cooperation Agreements:

For agreements to be signed  with universities in countries other than those specified by the Council of Higher Education, it is sufficient to obtain information only from the Equivalency Unit of YÖK about whether the institution is recognized or not.

PROCESS OF SIGNATURE PHASE

The prepared agreement texts are signed by the Rector of the two Universities in 2 copies. One copy of the agreements signed by the other institution remains at Trakya University and the other copy remains with the other institution.
